The 3-inch Multi-Seg Shredder™ features 36 precision mini diamond segments that aggressively remove epoxies, mastics, adhesives, and other floor coatings while delivering outstanding concrete grinding performance. Designed for wet or dry use, these tools offer exceptional production rates without the deep gouging commonly associated with PCD tooling.
A 30 Grit Multi-Seg Shredder can typically remove 70-80% of a 20-mil epoxy coating in a single pass, with production rates exceeding 1,000 sq. ft. per hour on large planetary grinders.
Available in Medium and Hard bond formulations, Multi-Seg Shredder diamonds are designed to perform on the vast majority of concrete surfaces. They are not recommended for extremely soft or highly abrasive concrete, where a more specialized bond may provide better performance and longer tool life.
Compatible with both Magnetic Quick Change plates and traditional threaded bolt-on adapters, Multi-Seg Shredder diamonds deliver exceptional cutting speed, long tool life, and reliable performance on demanding jobs.
